I'm going to start off first by mentioning the They're Real mascara. I've owned two full sized ones before, and purchased this kit mainly because I wanted a new one but also wanted a little something extra. This mascara is highly talked about in the beauty community right now, and receives more positive reviews than negative. This mascara is one of my favorites, if not my all time favorite. As far as whether is lengthening or volumizing, I'd say it defines and lengthens but doesn't add too much thickness. I've never had a problem with clumping, or flaking when it comes to this mascara. The packaging, and the wand design are great. The top of the wand features a little ball that has bristles all around, making it easy for you to coat any area of your lashes effortlessly. The full sized mascara costs $23.00, so if you're looking to try it but also get a little more bang for your buck pay and extra dollar and purchase this kit.
Next, lets talk about the eye shadows. I've never been crazy about Benefit's eye shadow palettes because I've always thought their pigmentation when in large quantities falls apart. I was pleasantly surprised with this kit. The kit features four colors: Solid Gold (which surprise! is in fact a gold color), Get Down Brown (which is a beautiful warm brown), Disco Dust (which is a light creamy vanilla shade) and Feel So Teal (which is also true to its name, and is a pretty teal).
Disco Dust is my least favorite of them all. I feel like the texture is different from the other four. Its more chalky, and less pigmented. Get Down Brown and Solid Gold are amazing, and look fantastic on the eyes. Feel So Teal is a little less vibrant than I thought it would be, but its still pigmented and a beautiful shade. I love wearing it on my bottom lash line for a pop of color.
(top to bottom: Feel So Teal, Get Down Brown, Solid Gold, Disco Dust)
Besides the mascara, my favorite thing in the kit was their Inferno lip gloss. I'm definitely not a lip products fanatic, but I haven't been able to leave my house without a quick application of this gloss. The shade is a gorgeous pinky-red, with subtle tiny shimmer. The texture feels great on the lips, and isn't sticky in the slightest. My go-to combo has been MAC's Hue, with the Inferno on top.
To be completely honest, I've never been a sparkly blush/highlight person. Having dry skin has led me to never want to put glitter on my cheeks because I'd rather draw attention away from the problem. So the Gimme Fever cheek powder isn't my cup of tea, however I think the quality and color are great just like all of Benefit's other powders. I completely fail swatched the product, please forgive me! I left the kit at my boyfriends house, but once I grab it again I'll take a new swatch picture and add it in here.
All in all I give this kit and 8.5 out of 10. I highly recommend that you check it out online, or go and look at it in store. Leave a comment below on what you think of the kit if you own it, or what you're most interested in that comes in the kit if you don't. Feedback is appreciated as always.
Thanks for reading ♥

I love the eyeshadows, they look like really good quality! I wanna try the They're Real mascara, but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on it and it's quite a lot of money for a mascara... Maybe one day! Thanks for the swatches, your pics are really good quality. I'm loving your blog, just started following!
